Graduate and Endorsement Student Tutorials

Audience: Levels 1-2 (only available to students in GT Endorsement and/or gifted education graduate programs)

To support university faculty at Colorado institutions of higher education who teach graduate courses in gifted education , the Academy provides opportunity for graduate students in gifted education to meet with Academy members in informal tutorials to discuss concepts, ideas, subject matter, and current issues that are introduced and/or developed in the context of university coursework. The purpose of these tutorials is to engage in discussions of topics of specific interest to graduate and endorsement students with long-time gifted education practitioners who can provide perspective based on practical experience, help students probe issues in gifted education, and help students reflect more deeply on questions and issues pertinent to their learning.

Tutorials can be set up by university faculty, or they may be arranged by students in specific courses with approval of the course instructor.

For more information, contact the Academy (info@coloradogtacademy.org).
